Unfortunately some cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and cancer drugs can make the skin and nails more susceptible to problems such as dryness, changes to the nails, sores, inflammation and rashes.
Our therapeutic foot and nail creams have been developed by our own clinical aromatherapists with the aim of making life just that bit easier for those currently dealing with the side effects associated with the cancer and the various treatments mentioned above.
How do they work?
Essential oils can be very effective when inhaled through the nasal passageways, helping to manage symptoms associated with cancer treatments - whether that be stress, anxiety, respiratory conditions, circulation problems or insomnia.
Our foot and nail creams are ideal for helping protect or treat your feet to overcome some of the harsh symptoms mentioned above, and are great for applying in the morning, or after a long day on your feet.
Directions for use: Apply to the feet, and massage into nails
How to choose the right blend for you:
Niaouli and Peppermint - Contains antibacterial properties which can help boost the immune system, whilst cooling the feet
Lavender & Niaouli - Reduces stress, anxiety and discomfort, helps to aid sleep
You’ll find calendula oil in our foot and nail creams, which helps to heal chapped skin and can promote cell regeneration. Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it great for treating athlete’s foot and fungal infections.
Our creams also contain olive oil and thistle oil, which is ideal for treating dry skin, as well as applying to skin that bruises easily - not to mention adding an extra layer of protection to the skin of the feet. Thistle oil also helps to increase blood circulation.
Both of our foot and nail creams are 100% free from paraben, aluminium, sodium laurel sulphate, mineral oil, and paraffin.
NOTE: These products have been carefully developed through many years’ experience of helping with symptom management in those living with cancer. As a result, our products are suitable for everyone - not just cancer sufferers.
